I have used Random.org to choose a winner and that person is….Katrina Day-Reilly

Congratulations – I will send you an email now!

Approximately a month ago I decided that it was time to stop eating so much chocolate, to don the exercise outfits and start getting fit. I received an email from Shock Absorber shortly after asking if I would like to test run and review their new Sports Bra! Well so close after my decision that must mean it is meant to be, mustn’t  it?
I have tried Sports Bras before and have never really got on with them, they are either not that supportive, don’t fit your lumps and bumps or they are so tight you can’t breathe so exercise is out of the question anyway!

“Shock Absorber is the UK’s leading sports bra brand, providing expert breast support to active women. Since the brand launched in 1995 Shock Absorber has been committed to on-going research into the design and development of sports bras. The Shock Absorber range offers scientifically proven support and is synonymous with performance, style, comfort and quality”

I was sent the Shock Absorber Run Bra to give a go, perfect timing for my get fit plan! The bra is so soft and fits perfectly, and you will be pleased to know actually stops bounce and supports! I know, a massive bonus!

This one has been designed for running and certainly does the job, but I have to say it works perfectly for the likes of me who would rather get their exercise bouncing around the living room on the games on my Console.

The bra is very well made and features an expected bra type clasp, adjustable straps and lovely material – I would definitely recommend this bra!

To find out more information about Shock Absorber please visit their website http://www.shockabsorber.co.uk/ and follow them on Faceboook and Twitter at @No1SportsBraUK

But not all are as lucky as me to be able to spend it with family and with some nice pressies, so I like to do my bit for others too. I have a drawer, its a bottom drawer, it starts out empty at the beginning of the year and I keep it to put in a few bits and bobs that get boxed up and donated at Christmas!

I’m not one for wearing much jewellery, I wear my engagement and wedding ring on my left hand and an eternity ring on my right hand all the time and that’s about it! I’ll put on a necklace for special occasions – mainly weddings, but it is rare!

After spending over three years pregnant/post baby I decided at the end of last year that I needed treating and one way to do it was to start getting some jewelery and accessories that I could wear everyday to jazz up my mummy (and work) outfits..so when Lizzie from Chic Unique asked me if I would like to review one of their items – I of course jumped at the chance!

The item I was sent was this lovely piece:

The necklace is a silver chain with an acrylic K and three little sparkly stones, topped off with a little star and a ‘Chic Unique tag’ which are both lovely touches! It’s so so cute and the K is a very pretty pink! It is very comfortable to wear (even for me who is not used to wearing necklaces) as it’s light and can been worn with most outfits.  It will certainly add something to my wardrobe – I love it!!  I have to also say Lizzie is fab, I would definitely recommend checking out her Etsy Shop and Emma’s Attic and if you like what you see but have something more particular in mind I’m sure Lizzie would be willing to look at making something special for you!

Just to prove how lovely Lizzie really is she has also given me a prize to give to one of you! The prize is this necklace, another very cute item, it has a gold  chain, and a piece of cake charm, again with a star and a Chic unique tag!

Sorry my photo doesn't do it justice!

So what do you have to do, simply head over to the Chic Unique Etsy shop and have a look around, then come back and tell me in a comment below if you were going to buy an item, what would it be! You don’t have to be a subscriber to the blog, but it would be nice!

And the winner is……

Congratulations to Jade Phillips (I will email you very shortly!)

Terms: Competition will close Wednesday 26th January 2011 at 8pm, anyone can enter providing they leave a way to contact them if they win (e.g. email, twitter ID), Winner will be picked at random!

Just had to show off the pretty little pendant I won this week from the lovely Maria Divine!I can’t wait to wear it, so nice to receive a treat for me!

It arrived all nicely packaged and a wonderful little card, I was so chuffed to have won it – after a few weeks of very little sleep due to teething, colds and much more, it was a great ‘cheer me up’!

I am not sure what to place it on to wear, it is a gorgeous pink heart, with small pink crystal! My initial thought was ribbon, but I got into what thickness, colour, length, so may consider the ‘easy’ option of a chain!

So come on, help me please, What do you think I should go for chain or ribbon, let me know by commenting below!
