Last week I told you that I was heading to Marvellous Memories to use the Kodak Kiosk machine to make some Exciting Memories!

Well this is the first post where I tell you all about it!

So imagine this; it is close to Christmas (well it is you know!) and you remember you have missed a card or you just want to do something a little bit more personal – what do you do? What can you do so close to Christmas? Well you can head towards a Kodak Kiosk!

So how do you do it?

Just grab one of these

  1. A Mermory Card
  2. Your Facebook log in details
  3. Smartphone (IOS or Android) with the Kodak Connect App installed

Yep the Kiosks are that up to date, you can connect to them using your smartphone, no need for wires or anything, you can just connect to the Kiosk using the Wifi Technology (for IOS you are given a login and for Android you can scan the QR Code) and off you go!

Once connected the machine find all your photos for you. You then select Greeting Cards, Make Fold Greetings Card, a theme and then your card design. You can view your photos in albums or just view them all together.

Once you have selected the photos you want to use, you just need to hold the photo and drag onto the slots on the card!

I had a play with different themes, I had a little trouble placing more than one photo on one card design, but not sure if that was my impatience, the new software the kiosks had been updated with or just because that was the kind of day we were having!

You can then add text (which we did to the front and the inside)!

Once you are happy with the design you press done, take you receipt to the counter and that is that! I can’t show you the finished card because that would spoil the surprise for someone, but you can be rest assured that it came out fab!

So, looking for that last minute card? It is ok, there is still time to make your card, it will not take long to upload the picture, place, do you text and get it printed! Fast, Fun and Convenient!

Alternatively, use the Kiosk for a birthday card, a thinking of you card or a ‘i have a new photo of the kids and thought I would show you card’!

So it is nearly Christmas and there is nothing better to lead up to the big day, than a nice night cosying up with the family to watch a film.  So you can imagine how excited I was when this beautiful little lot arrived!

So one for the whole family, one to watch with Daddy and one for a girls night! I really felt like Santa had arrived!

Pack ShotThe Polar Express

Tom Hanks stars in and Robert Zemeckis directs this instant holiday classive filmed in dazzling performance-capture animation that makes every home magical. A roller-coaster up and down mountains, you can slip-slide over ice fields, tetter across mile-high bridges and be served hot chocolate by singing waiter more astonishing than any you can ever imagine.

This Christmas Eve, grab a duvet, some treats, your kids and snuggle up for an enchanting journey. A lovely film to share with the family is the warm up to Christmas!

Batman – The Dark Knight Rises

I have never seen Daddy so excited at the arrival of a Blu Ray before! he was literally bouncing like a child at Christmas!

It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night……Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.

But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

This is an absolutely awesome film and will be a sure win with any Batman fan! It had me gripped by my seat and Daddy was overly happy with it joining the Film collection!

Best enjoyed with your friends, nibbles and a glass of wine, one of those feel good films that makes you smile!

A fantastic selection for Christmas, so go, watch and enjoy! We certainly will be doing!

Our house is beginning to become slightly obsessed with Dancing games on our Wii. They are fun, the whole family can play and they are simple enough to join in!

The latest addition to our collection is Just Dance Disney Party and boy do we love it! There are 25 songs from films and tv shows that I am sure you will know and love!

Legs and Mouse love the dancing games we have had before, but the added bonus of this one is they know the songs too! The videos are great to watch, they are super  bright and colourful!

As you would hope the game is very easy to play! You hold the wii control in your right hand and the follow the dance moves on screen! Legs found it easy to follow and really enjoyed it, wanting ‘just one more song’ over and over! Mouse is only 2 and a half but still enjoyed joining in, she followed the moves as best she could and still scored points!

The best thing is that disney being what it is, most people will know most of the songs! There are classic (e.g. bare necessities from jungle book) in there for Granny and Gramps to join in too!

An awesome game for a birthday party, for Christmas Day, for a weekend…..well for any day! So if you are looking for something for the kids this Christmas for a present or just something for you all to do, we would definite recommend you pick up a copy of Just Dance Disney Party!

We have previously been lucky enough to review Just Dance Kids which we loved, so when asked if we were up to trying out the Just Dance 4, we of course said yes, because Grown ups like to dance too!

Containing over 40 tracks of fab music, this game is fab! The tunes include the Time Warp, Will Smith, Pink and Flo Rida, a real mix, I think oct people could find something they would enjoy! You can use it for a party, night in with the family and even for a bit of healthy exercise just for you!

Although similar to the previous games, it features new songs, game modes and dance moves. The brand new battle mode will show who is the champion out of you and your friends and the just sweat mode gives you a great dance workout!

The game is very easy to set up, and even easier to play and have fun with! Even playing alone you can get a little competitive trying to beat old scores!

Just Dance 4

With a certain celebration coming up (yes the C word), this is a perfect game for the list for Father Christmas. Something that you can use to keep yourself smiling, to have fun with the family, to bring out after a glass of wine with friends and even to assist the healthy lifestyle in the new year!

Brilliant game, Brilliant fun!

Go, Dance and be happy!

Disclaimer: I was sent a copy of this game and a fab personalised tshirt for the purpose of the review, however, my opinions are honest!
